Automatic Gate safety upgrade

The safety of Automatic Gates receives regular nationwide attention after repeated incidents and fatalities caused by unsafe installations. We have DHF Safety Assured status from our industry body and employ engineers with Gate Safety Diplomas.
This is a great example of a safety upgrade recently at Murrayfield Stadium using Xguard Laser Scanners to meet BS EN 12453:2001.
D110 Security Roller ShutterSubway, Livingston
Following on-going investment by Subway across the country, Mechdoors was employed by shopfitting company Vertex to manufacture and install 1 of our D110 Security Roller Shutters
at the shop entrance to their new store in The Centre, Livingston.
The D110 Security Roller Shutter is electrically operated and incorporates perforated lath for through vision and full polyester powder coating. We also manufactured and installed portico flashings to conceal both side guides and create a unique feature to the wall jambs.

The roller shutters are electrically operated and incorporate full polyester powder coating. This follows on from on-going door and roller shutter replacements throughout the national rugby stadium.

As part of a shopfit for a high street retailer, Mechdoors was chosen by Union Projects to install a high specification Hinged Steel Doorset
to meet the security requirements of the retailer. The doorset incorporates a high security lock while maintaining fire escape functionality.

Principle contractor and long-time customer Insite Contracts employed Mechdoors to supply and install 21 replacement Sectional Overhead Doors
for an industrial warehouse refit in Edinburgh. Most of the new Sectional Overhead Door are electrically operated with standard lift tracks and in-house fabricated steelwork supports for the spring assemblies. We delivered on time and on budget.

When several old industrial doors became uneconomical to repair, Mechdoors was contacted to replace them with our D140 Insulated Roller Shutters. The roller shutters are all electrically operated, polyester powder coated and incorporate additional safety features to meet specific site conditions.

As part of an on-going door replacement programme, Mechdoors have supplied and installed several Hinged Steel Doorsets
at fire exits and bin stores. The fire exits incorporate the latest emergency exit devices and the bin stores incorporate louvre panels to provide ventilation.
