Professional Site Engineers

We have a family of long serving and motivated site engineers who are directly employed through careful recruitment and our Modern Apprentice programme to provide a reliable service delivery of confidence, accurate fault diagnosis and attention to detail.

We focus on each employee having the necessary competence to perform their work in a professional and safe manner through product training and general & specific Health & Safety training, most of which are ROSPA approved.

Engineers who erect mobile scaffolding are PASMA trained and those operating MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) are IPAF trained. Toolbox talks provided by our external safety advisors enhance our safe working culture.

Our Investors In People status is important in our drive to include all engineers in the on-going improvements of everything we do. Our SafeContractor and Contractor Plus accreditations further illustrate our commitment to Health & Safety.

To ensure a safe working environment on all sites our engineers attend, we have developed a Health & Safety Site Report form which is completed by our engineers on site before starting any work, which brings together our Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work to create a single document specific for the work to be undertaken.

We have a high retention of staff and an on-going programme of recruiting young engineers using the Modern Apprenticeship programme. This provides an effective means of training young local people for a career in engineering.
