The company's commitment to employ quality people has been further illustrated with the introduction of two Modern Apprentices. Each new Modern Apprentice will complete a three year programme. As well as on-the-job training both in the workshop and on-site, they will also gain skills training to SVQ level III in Performing Engineering Operations, and will attend college to gain an educational qualification, being an NC in Engineering. The company intends to extend this programme by introducing at least one new Modern Apprentice every year. This will then provide an annual 'graduate' who is both experienced and qualified in all aspects of their job, thereby pushing forward the standards that we aspire to.
